About Our Temple
Temple History
The Hindu Temple of Central Texas was founded in 1999 under the leadership of Madhava R Beeram and with support from members of the Central Texas Hindu community. The temple was established to create a traditional Hindu place of worship and a center for spiritual, educational, and cultural activities. The temple officially opened on December 9, 2001 and has continued serving devotees ever since. Over the years, the temple expanded with Rajagopuram, Saraswathi Nilayam, Homakundam, OM Dhyana Mandapam and additional sanctums. Today HTCT remains a place where spirituality, culture and community come together.
